Also in relation to gender, sci-fi- thrillers may contain alot of action making them more popular among a male audience.
Obsessed is a thriller film which is rated a 12A. This suggests adult content is mild and the film has hardly any strong language which makes it suitable for pre teens.
The film may have also been targeted mostly towards women as the storyline addresses the topic of love.
