Editing the Shot by Shot Prelim

After editing the 'Arlington Road' clips, we found it easy to edit as we already had practice.
We knew how to use Final Cut pro better and we didn't need instructions on how to do things like incoporate text and add effects.

Cutting

We cut all the unncessacary slips out of the video to make sure that the audience made sense of it, when we felt it looked good we started adding titles.

Incoporating Titles

Following the conventional title sequence we added the titles in that order. We made sure to leave space between each title and that our title sequence ended when the image faded to ensure that it looked like an opening.

Music

The only thing we needed some help with was incoporating music into our opening as we had only done this a couple of times and the process can be confusing. We transfered our video into 'soundtrack pro', there we used music that built tension and suspense, we felt that this worked well with our video.

Here are some screen shots of when were used soundtrack pro.
