FILMING: Shoot 3

On our last day of filming, it was definitely more comfortable as we were able to film inside Giselle's house. This meant that we could be more relaxed and film each shot more times as we also had more time as it was during our 3 hour lesson. 

 On our second day of filming, we filmed outside Giselle's house for the scene where she is arriving home. We also filmed inside the house when we were filming Natalia and Giselle in each of their scenes. 

Giselle's little cousin who played the child in the opening was extremely enthusiastic about being in the opening. She loved doing it and was very talented. She also contributed some ideas which were quite good. 

Vlogging Before Our Final Pitch! (Initial Ideas)

This is a V-log about some of the initial ideas that we had as well as some of the props, locations and target audience that would go with each idea. We done this V-log before we done our final pitch and we are hoping to get some feedback that will help us to shape our opening and make it excellent!

FILMING: Shoot 1

This is the first time we went out to film. We went down to Saint Paul's Cathedral to start filming our beginning establishing shots. When we first got there, we began thinking about ways that we could film it. We decided to do a pan of the whole landscape and we repeated that a couple of times.

It was quite easy to work with a fig rig and we quickly learned that we had to have quite steady hands to get the job done properly which we managed to do in the end. We all got a turn to film which was good because we all got the experience of filming with a fig rig as we had never done before.

The only down side of our first day of filming was that it was absolutely freezing. It was so cold on that day and we had to carry all of the equipment on the train which also was not easy. However because there are three of us, we managed and we got to do everything we wanted and to get all the shots we wanted.

PLANNING: Locations

The following pictures are some of the locations we have picked out for filming our Thriller opening, these pictures will be featured in the pitch of our Thriller. 

If we stick with our original idea, this will be one of the locations that we will be filming in. We want the protagonist to look fairly normal before she gets to her own house so we thought that London bridge would be a good place to allow her to look 'normal'. 

These are pictures from Tower bridge. We are also thinking about shooting here because again it is an iconic place in London and it will help to make her fit in and actually look normal which is what we want at the beginning of the opening. 

 These are pictures from the Saint Paul's Cathedral area. We went up on a rooftop and we took these pictures because we thought this would also be a potential great place where we could film.
